If you get this error & find that uninstalling & reinstalling Ignition does not fix the problem, and also notice that Ignition works under another Windows user account, then try the following to resolve the issue:
- Click on Start, go to Run...
- Type: control userpasswords2
- Press ENTER.
- Look at the list of users & find the problematic account.
- See if the user belongs to the "Debugger Users" group (this is the problematic group).
- If so, then click the account in the list & click Properties.
- Click the Group Membership tab.
- Under the "Other:" section, change the setting back to "Administrators".
- Click OK to exit the Properties window.
- Click OK to exit the User Accounts window.
- Log off & back on.
This should hopefully resolve the issue.
