LogMeIn Ignition Error: "The system cannot find the file specified. Error code: 2."

If you get this error & find that uninstalling & reinstalling Ignition does not fix the problem, and also notice that Ignition works under another Windows user account, then try the following to resolve the issue:

  1. Click on Start, go to Run...
  2. Type:  control userpasswords2
  3. Press ENTER.
  4. Look at the list of users & find the problematic account.
  5. See if the user belongs to the "Debugger Users" group (this is the problematic group).
  6. If so, then click the account in the list & click Properties.
  7. Click the Group Membership tab.
  8. Under the "Other:" section, change the setting back to "Administrators".
  9. Click OK to exit the Properties window.
  10. Click OK to exit the User Accounts window.
  11. Log off & back on.

This should hopefully resolve the issue.
